A community-centered consulting firm.

community-centered solutions

Taking advice from Bryan Stevenson of the Equal Justice Initiative, get proximate to the problem. Community as the heart of an issue must be in every aspect of the process to drive sustainable change. Our strategies are to:

  • Recognize the gifts, talents, and assets of community to be mobilized for action.

  • Analyze power dynamics and create structural ways to share power within collaborative partnerships and committees.

  • Finally, listen, listen, listen and act with community.

3-R Consulting uses these strategies to work with leaders and organizations to ensure desired results are achieved and sustained.

resident leadership development (RDL)

The goal of RLD is to unearth, strengthen and elevate diverse leaders who are:

  1. Grounded in their own leadership,

  2. Value human connection and relationships and,

  3. Drive community change.

3-R Consulting believes that everyone is a leader and walks alongside leaders as they navigate their leadership journeys. Support could look like expanding their social capital/network, coaching on a particular opportunity, connections to new resources, trainings, or renewing energy to prevent burnout.

infrastructure
development

Providing a wide range of skills, knowledge, and resources to increase a community-based organization’s performance and effectiveness is the purpose of infrastructure development.  To improve an organization’s performance and/or effectiveness, through an assessment, an organization may determine an area of focus – strengthen financial health, embed a culture for learning in the organization, program launch, and external evaluation.
